WELCOME TO OUR ASSOCIATION’S WEBSITE
Aide Aux Plus Demunis, which translates from French as ” Service to those who need it most”, truly defines the spirit of this project.
In the north of India, in the state of Uttarakhand, a town called Rishikesh… in the area known as Muni ki Reti, our dispensary offers free treatment to those who need it most. More than a medical centre, it is a lifelong project driven by a love of service that grows every day.

Membership
Annual membership of 20€, which is intended to support the running costs of the association
2.
Sponsorship
Which includes the annual membership and a regular monthly payment of a minimum of 10€ towards the operating cost of the dispensary, hence 140€ per year (20€ + 120€)
3.
One-time donation
Which is used for major non-recurring expenses (e.g., new construction, renovations, purchases of medical equipment, etc.).

Handicraft purchase
Indian handicrafts for gifts (Christmas market, Mother’s Day, etc.)
Good to note that at the end of the year, a tax receipt is issue for all these contributions. This can be used in the annual income tax return (for fiscal residents in France) to benefit from corresponding tax reduction: currently 66% of the sums paid, up to a limit of 20% of overall net income.
€10 per month effectively costs just €3.4
The work of the management is entirely voluntary, and travel and accommodation for the association’s trips to Rishikesh are at the participants’ expense.

Our association
We are a non-profit organisation (association 1901) based in France, with our head office in Vaucluse.
The association was established on 26 June 2002 in Marseille by Dr Grimaldi Ghislaine at the instigation of Sophie Rombaut, a medical professional specialising in tropical diseases who had been working in India since 1973.
The aim of our association:
- Ensuring year-round functioning of a dispensary in the town of Rishikesh (North India), receiving over 25,000 patients per year
- Ensuring “medical camp” services 4 times per week, providing medical services in the nearby slums
- Contributing to the food and medical expenses of the students at the SVM Education Centre
